There are a growing number of wineries around the San Francisco Bay. Most of them are working wineries in old warehouses or industrial parks. This is an odd wine region. It is probably best to visit the closest wineries to your location and then work your way around the Bay from there. You'll find plenty of personal hospitality and great wines. For a quick taste adventure try these city wineries. I think you'll be very surprised how enjoyable they are.

There are two unlikely places to get off the beaten track. One is at the wineries in Emeryville just north of the Bay Bridge and the other is Treasure Island.
We have hundreds of winery interview videos in winery profiles. We shoot these at winery events because that is the cheapest way to gather content. It would be nice to go to each tasting room but this gets very expensive quickly. See our Compare Winery Features search engine for which wineries have videos in your target region.
We are adding our Discover California Wine Regions videos to the Recommended Wineries by Region pages.
