Santa Barbara County GPS winery map

The Santa Barbara County Wine Region is centered on the small towns of Santa Ynez, Solvang, Buellton, and Los Olivos. This is the area of the hit movie Sideways fame. The Santa Barbara County wineries are favorites of Southern Californians but you will find visitors from all over the world here. The hilly terrain is scenic and the back roads romantic. Winery picnicking is more popular here than in the other regions and finding a space on a weekend at mid-day is a challenge. The Santa Ynez / Los Olivos area can get a bit crowded at times but if you want to escape just drive west into the Santa Rita Hills or north toward Santa Maria along the Foxen Canyon Road.
