Russian River Valley GPS winery map

The Russian River Wine Region of Sonoma County is anchored by Santa Rosa on the south and Healdsburg to the north. The terrain is mostly small hills and quiet back roads through vineyards and fields. There are a few large wineries to visit but most are small to medium size operations. The tasting experience here is diverse with beautiful scenery, easy access from San Francisco, great wine, and few crowds. The dominate feature of the region is of course the Russian River. There are extensive visitor services in Santa Rosa and Healdsburg with a few restaurants, motels, and B&B's in the small towns. See our Quester Network for more detailed winery information.
