Instructions to view in Google Earth:

  1. Step 1 - Click on a link below.
  2. Step 2 - Select Open with Google Earth or googleearth.exe and click OK. That's it if you have Google Earth installed.

Now you have our data in your Google Earth application and can print whatever parts of the map you would like. With Google Earth you can fly over the area in 3D and upload the data as GPS files to your GPS unit and drive off on a great adventure in California Wine Country! You can also use Google Earth on a notebook computer for navigation by connecting a GPS unit to it with a USB cable. Be sure to download the satellite images of the area you want to travel in before you disconnect from the Internet.

Google Earth is available for free here: earth.google.com You will need to purchase the Google Earth Plus plan for GPS functionality.

Microsoft Streets & Trips is decent and inexpensive (Amazon.com - $100 including the GPS device for your dashboard) GPS navigation software for your notebook computer or Pocket PC. When we get around to cleaning up our data in our copy of S&T we'll post the file on this Web site.
