Amador County GPS winery map

California's Amador County is one of the Sierra Foothills wine regions and just east of Highway 49. The only significant town in the main wine region is Plymouth with a few services and a motel. Placerville to the north is the largest town in the area with many motels and restaurants. In Amador County south of Plymouth are several small Gold Country towns to explore and a few motels. Further south is Jackson with numerous restaurants and motels. Most of the Amador County wineries are nestled in the little Shenandoah Valley east of Plymouth and are easy to find and visit. The major problem is to decide which ones to visit but we have our Quester Network to help you get the most from your Amador County winery experience.
